Chris has dedicated his professional career to serving.

Chris was raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He attended Purdue University where he played NCAA Division I volleyball. After graduating from Purdue, Chris went to law school at The University of Houston Law Center where he graduated in two and a half years.

When he was a baby lawyer, he began working at a small boutique litigation firm where he was trying medical malpractice and employers’ liability fatality lawsuits in his first year. He also was introduced to funeral service when began doing outside counsel work for Service Corporation International.

When the in-house attorney left SCI, Chris was brought in to take over. In his five years at SCI Chris gained invaluable exposure and experience to all aspects of the funeral service industry which included all manner of regulatory, litigated, business, employment, and even anti-trust matters.

His time at SCI led Chris to the conclusion that he wanted to dedicate his career to protecting and defending those in funeral service who dedicated their lives to serving families who have lost loved ones. That camaraderie of service makes serving the funeral service a thoroughly rewarding experience for Chris.

Chris lives in Houston with his wife, Megan, and his children, Savannah, Patrick, and Ava. In his spare time he enjoys watching his kids sports, playing volleyball, sailing, traveling, and building furniture and his 18′ racing sailboat.
